What does professional photographers insurance cover?
We tailor each our insurance solutions for professional photographers to meet individual customer needs, rather than providing a “one size fits all” solution.
The cover you need will vary depending upon the type of work you carry out, the equipment and location, but will usually include:
- including your cameras, lenses, lighting, tripods, bags etc
- To protect against claims arising from damage to third-party property or bodily injury to a member of the public
- For bodily injury, illness, death or disease of any of your employees
To protect against claims arising from mistakes or negligence where you are held legally responsible
With our professional photographers insurance we can also offer a legal helpline, providing access to advice on UK law, tax advice and much more.
We can cover studio buildings (including home garden studios but not a home premises) and studio contents such as props, backdrops, furniture etc.
If your work takes you overseas, our policy provides cover for up to 90 days per trip worldwide as standard (except where the UK Foreign Office advises against all but essential travel, and specifically excluded countries.)
